The Recorded Music Association of America was founded by

The Legendary Les Paul and Douglas J. Drysdale Sr.

​

Les Paul as we all know, Invented Sound on Sound, Multi-Track Recording and the Electric Solid body Guitar among other

Recording technology.

Basically Les Paul is the father of the recording industry.

​

The Mission of the Recorded Music Association of America

(RMAA) is to fairly evaluate the worth or value of a Master Recording or Master Video Recording.

​

With today's technology, recorded music and video are becoming more and more valuable. Master tapes are more valuable now than ever, due to digital distribution through such avenues as i-Tunes, Amazon.com and others, as well as licensing and publishing.

​

The RMAA, makes sure that appraisals are not only fair

but they are highly accurate as well.

​

​We serve the Record and Entertainment Industry to provide a service second to none,  but we also serve the song writers, publishers, collectors and the ordinary guy who has a valuable

asset and needs an undisputed fair market value.

The value can be for Insurance purposes or to just put an accurate value on your asset for resale.

Most Appraisal services do not have the many years experience

and expertise in working with Thousands of Master tapes

for so many years. The RMAA does.

The RMAA will continue to offer the very best in Master Tape Appraisals for all media. If you have a tape appraised by the RMAA,

it will be fair as well as accurate.

Our appraisals are based on Federal court rulings which have

set the undisputed industry standard for fair market value.

We have also developed the most advanced state of the art, Magnetic Tape Restoration process on the planet, for those of you who need your tapes restored prior to an appraisal or use in a studio.
